Introduction

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to welcome you to my blog. I started metal detecting almost two years ago, and this Father’s Day will mark that special milestone. What began as a hobby for a bit of fresh air has grown into a passion that’s been a huge boost for my mental health. I’m thrilled to share my finds and adventures with you all!

I’m lucky enough to be an affiliate with Crawford’s, but more than that, I just adore this hobby—the friendships, the history, the thrill of discovery. My best mate Terry and I love heading out on our little detecting adventures. And if you join me on TikTok most evenings, you’ll see that come to life—I get to interact with so many of you, from experts who help me identify finds, to curious newcomers just discovering this world.

Some of my favourite finds so far? A 4,200-year-old Neolithic copper axe head. a Roman Emperor silver denarius, and a bunch of hammered and milled silver coins. But above all, it’s the memories—those moments out in the field, the joy, the discovery—that mean the most.
